6. Measure:
•
Secondary sheave freeplay (clearance) a
Use a feeler gauge.
Out of specification → Adjust.
Secondary sheave freeplay
(clearance) a:
SEJ2340
7. Adjust:
•
Secondary sheave freeplay (clearance)
Adjustment steps:
•
Apply the brake to lock the secondary sheave.
•
Remove the bolt 1 and washer 2.
•
Adjust the secondary sheave freeplay (clear-
ance) by adding or removing a shim(s) 3.
