Settings for IDENTI-FISH
The IDENTI-FISH
echo display and the IDENTI-FISH
[IDENTI-FISH] menu
1. Click the [Advanced Settings] icon (

4. Click the [OK] button to confirm settings.
Use the [Cancel] button to discard changes to [Clutter], [Interference], [Smooth-
ing].
and ID1/ID2 menus have items for setting up the IDENTI-FISH
Item
Registers model data for fish species. See section 2.2.3.
Imports model data from an external storage device. See
"How to import model data" on page 2-9.
Exports model data to an external storage device. See
"How to export model data" on page 2-10.
Deletes model data. See "How to delete unnecessary
model data" on page 2-8.
Removes unwanted noise from the IDENTI-FISH
display. The greater the numeric value the move clutter is
reduced.
Removes unwanted interference (electrical, etc.) from the
IDENTI-FISH
rejection increases in the order of [NL1]→[NL2]→[NL3].
Normally, use the same setting mentioned in
section 1.10. If the interference cannot be removed from
the IDENTI-FISH
this setting.
If the echoes on the IDENTI-FISH
"spotty" or "jagged" adjust this setting to smooth the echo
presentation. The larger the setting the greater the degree
of smoothing.
