Do not subject the sensor to high voltage,
including static electricity.
Doing so may damage the device.
Do not pass a current through a conductor
under measurement when the PS-54 Power
Supply or your waveform measuring
instrument is off.
Doing so may damage the device and instrument.
Keep the upper jaw locked in place except the
following occasions:
• When clamping the sensor around a
conductor to be measured
• When removing the sensor from the
conductor.
Leaving the upper jaw unlocked can damage the device.
