Installing Options

Align the controller board with the top and bottom rails, and then push
it in using the part marked "PUSH" until it stops.

Tighten the four screws to fasten the controller board back into its orig-
inal position using the provided screwdriver. Tighten the screws in the
order of the numbers (1 to 4) next to the screw holes.
❒ Be sure to return the provided screwdriver to its original position on the in-
side of the front cover.
❒ After finishing installation, check the memory unit is installed properly: print
the configuration page from the "List/Test Print" menu. If it is installed prop-
erly, you will see the memory capacity for "Total Memory".
❒ The table below shows total SDRAM module capacities.

❒ If the memory unit is not installed properly, repeat the procedure from the
start. If you cannot install it properly even after reinstallation, contact your
sales or service representative.
