Turn the green lever clockwise.

Hold down the printer's inner cover, grasp the pieces of tape protruding
from the development unit, and then slowly pull them out horizontally.
❒ Be sure to pull out all four pieces of tape to avoid printer malfunction during
operation.
❒ The removed tape is dirty. Be careful not to let it touch your hands or
clothes.

Remove the securing pin, as shown, from the transfer unit. Pinch it, and
then pull it out.
