Fan Stages

6.2.1. Principle of Operation

The EXPERT 2V2SA controls 2 stages of
variable-speed fans (stages 1-2) and optional
stages of ON/OFF fans (fan stages 3-). These
stages operate in a sequence to increase the
level of ventilation as the room temperature
increases.
A start and a stop temperature must be de-
fined for each stage. When the room tempera-
ture rises and reaches the start temperature
of a fan stage, the fans associated to that
stage are activated; likewise the stage's fans
are deactivated when the room temperature
falls to the stage's stop temperature.
Start temperatures of fan stages are defined
with respect to the set point and with respect
to each other. This means that when one of
these values is adjusted, all the consecutive
values are adjusted by the same amount. For
example, if the set point is increased by 1°F,
the start temperature of all fan stages will be
increased by the same amount.
