necting the connecting cable between the

Overview of transferred vehicle data
When using Smartphone Integration, certain
vehicle data is transferred to the mobile phone.
This enables you to get the best out of selected
mobile phone services. Vehicle data is not
directly accessible.
The following system information is transmitted:
Software release of the multimedia system

System ID (anonymised)

The transfer of this data is used to alter how
content is displayed to correspond to the driving
situation.
The following position data is transmitted:
Coordinates

Speed

Compass direction

Acceleration direction

This data is used by the mobile phone to
improve the accuracy of the navigation (e.g. for
continuation in a tunnel).

gency call system
The Mercedes-Benz emergency call system only
functions in areas where mobile phone coverage
is available from the relevant contract partner.
Insufficient network coverage from the relevant
contract partner may result in an emergency call
not being transmitted.
The ignition must be switched on before an auto‐
matic emergency call can be made.
