Servicing the Engine Oil

Service Interval: Before each use or daily—Check
the engine-oil level.
After the first 50 hours—Replace the engine oil.
Every 100 hours—Replace the engine oil.
After the first 50 hours—Change the engine-oil
filter.
Every 200 hours—Change the engine-oil filter.
Engine-Oil Specifications
Oil Type: High-quality detergent oil classified API
Service CJ-4 or higher for diesel engines. Do not use
special additives with recommended oils.
Crankcase Capacity: 3.7 L (3.9 US qt)
Viscosity: See the table below.
