Removing the oil sump
•
Drain the engine oil.
•
Unscrew and remove the twelve oil
sump screws.
•
Remove the oil sump
•
Remove the upper gasket
•
Remove the rose pipe together with the
gasket
CAUTION
THE ROSE PIPE MUST BE CAREFULLY CLEANED IN THE
EVENT THAT THE ENGINE IS COMPLETELY OVER-
HAULED OR IN CASE OF PROBLEM WHICH MAY HAVE
GENERATED SUSPENDED DEBRIS IN THE OIL.
DURING REFITTING REPLACE THE GASKET WITH A NEW
ONE OF THE SAME TYPE.
