Apply water-repellent grease between the O-rings and the Quick Shift uniball
NOTE
ONCE ASSEMBLE, THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE UNIBALL AND THE JOINT MUST BE AP-
PROXIMATELY 180mm (7.09in).
Vehicle preparation
To remove the engine from the chassis, previously perform the following operations:
•
Remove the fuel tank and the battery.
•
Remove the fairing, the side fairings, the air deflectors and the fairing lug
Position the vehicle as described:
•
Fasten an appropriately sized belt for the weight of the vehicle to the semi-handlebars and
to a hoist.
•
Place the rear stand.
