Cause
Improper regeneration.
External bypass valve leaking.
O-ring around riser pipe damaged.
Incorrect controller settings.
Meter blocked.
Meter cable defective.

Water consumption depleted unit
capacity.
No brine in brine tank.
Injector plugged.
Bypass valve in bypass.
Meter probe disconnected or not
fully connected to meter housing.
Restricted meter turbine rotation
due to foreign matter in meter.

Reset and recovery
Control brine dosage setting and
repeat regeneration.
Repair/replace bypass.
Replace o-ring.
Check that controller setting match
with your actual softener model.
Clean or change meter.
Change meter cable.
Check that controller setting match
with your actual softener model.
Reset and recovery. Check water
consumption in diagnostic mode. If
registered water consumption match
with unit capacity, this is then a
normal behaviour. If not, contact
your supplier.
Add brine to brine tank.
Clean injector and screen.
Shift bypass valve to non-bypass
position.
Fully insert probe into meter
housing.
Remove meter housing, free up
turbine and flush with clean water.
Turbine should spin freely. If not,
replace meter.
