Setting the hook thread tension

WARNING
Risk of injury from needle and moving parts!
Switch off the machine before setting the hook
thread tension.

The hook thread tension depends on the adjustment of springs (2)
and (6).
Increasing the tension:
1. Turn the screws (3), (7) clockwise.
Reducing the tension:
1. Turn the screws (3), (7) counterclockwise.
