Note: You may be able to use the console service functions (65+21) to assist in a recovery or to gather
debug data.
System reference code A6005082
Possible reasons you received system reference code A6005082:
v If the system displays this SRC code, it usually means that a console was found, and then the server
lost the console connection.
v If the console is reassigned and the server can locate a console, the SRC code will go away.
v The console type does not affect this SRC code.
Failure to display D1008065 and D1008066 automatically after calling the function
When working with models that have a double row for the Function/Data display, after calling the
function 65 or 66, the control panel may not automatically display the resulting SRC code. In these cases,
you have to do a function 11 in order to determine whether the function 65 or 66 completed successfully.
If the function did not complete successfully:
1. Using the control panel or the remote control panel, press the Up or Down buttons until 11 is shown.
2. Press Enter.
IPL step C6004031 takes longer than expected
A change was made in V5R1 and later, that detects the hardware resource for a console. Depending on
what other console-capable resources might be found plus the time it takes to walk the bus, this activity
has increased the amount of time spent at this IPL step.

Hummingbird SOCKS Client, or others.
|
|
v If you are connecting via a network, another reason the remote control panel fails to start may be that
either the user ID or service tools device ID being used does not have permission to use the remote
|
control panel.
