Damping must be adjusted to the
road conditions and the spring
preload.
A rough road surface requires
softer damping than a smooth
road surface.
An increase in spring preload
requires firmer damping, a re-
z
duction in spring preload re-
quires softer damping.
The damping setting is
counted from completely
closed position (turn adjusting
screw clockwise as far as
possible).
Adjusting the rebound-
stage damping on front
wheel
Adjust the rebound-stage
damping on the fork base of
both fork legs using the top
adjusting screw 1.
To increase the damping: Turn
adjusting screw 1 in direc-
tion A.
To reduce the damping: Turn
adjusting screw 1 in direc-
tion B.
Front forks rebound ba-
sic setting
Turn adjuster (R) as far as
possible clockwise, then 20
clicks counterclockwise
Front forks rebound ad-
justment range
1...26 clicks
