Ride height
Setting
When adjusting the ride height,
be aware that the clearance of
various components cannot be
guaranteed for certain setting
combinations. It is therefore
important to always check the
clearance of the steering, front
wheel, rear wheel swinging arm,
and rear wheel after any changes
are made.
Adjusting the front ride
height
Park motorcycle, ensuring that
support surface is firm and
level.
Remove the engine spoiler
(
128).
Removing right fairing side
panel (
129).
Remove left fairing side panel
in the same way.
Lift the motorcycle with the en-
gine jack so that the front end
is relieved. Secure the motor-
cycle against falling over.
Loosen screws 1.
Loosen screws 2.
Support front forks using suit-
able tool.
Loosen screws 3.
Set fork tube overhang (equiva-
lent to the ride height) a to the
desired value.
