LCD display in procedures
When the LCD message as shown in the right is illustrated in the
procedure, it indicates that the message is actually shown on the
LCD of REGIUS MODEL190 at the time of implementing the
procedure.
Power ON
The following is a description of the procedure for switching on the REGIUS MODEL 190.
Start and shut down of the REGIUS MODEL 190 are carried out from the REGIUS Console CS-1/CS-
2/CS-3 that controls it. The power should always be left on. In the case of emergencies or power
failure, the power should be switched on, by following the procedure below.
The power breaker of the
REGIUS MODEL 190 does
not have to be operated in a
Power Breaker
daily usage.
Only when the power
breaker is turned OFF, for
instance, the unit is not
used for an extended
period, the power breaker
should be turned ON.

This is an application software
that controls the network
"operation" button
between REGIUS MODEL
190 and CS-1/CS-2/CS-3.
"operation" Lamp
(There are two types of JM-1;
One is built-in, the other is
external.)
Contact your system
administrator to ensure which
of the two types is used.

"erase" button by mistake

Check if the power plug is
connected to the power outlet.

Turn ON the power breaker of the
REGIUS MODEL 190.
• Ensure that the CS-1/CS-2/CS-3 is
running. If the system includes an
external JM-1, ensure that the JM-1 is
running.

Depress the "operation" button.
• The "operation" lamp will illuminate.
(Green)
• The LCD panel will show
"REGIUS MODEL 190".

Initialization of the REGIUS
MODEL190 will be started.
• The LCD panel will show the message
"INITIALIZING" and the counter
"■ ■ ■ • • • ".
• When the counter "■ ■ ■ • • • "
reaches the left end, "READY" will be
shown.
• The REGIUS MODEL 190 is ready for
operation.
