Usage of the Exposure-Only Cassette
(for long object images)
Procedures ( "Loading the plate in the read-only cassette" -> "Exposure" -> "Loading the
plate in the system cassette" ) to record the long object image data are described below.

Erase the images on the REGIUS Plate of
the read-only cassette before exposure.

Back Panel of
Disengage the open/close lock of the read-
Cassette
only cassette, and separate the front plate
from the back plate on which the REGIUS
Front Panel of
Cassette
Plate is attached.

Holding the back plate with the REGIUS
Plate toward the frame with notches, align
the register mark of the back plate to that
of the read-only cassette, and set the back
plate in the read-only cassette.

Lift the back plate while pressing the [Plate
Release] button to release the REGIUS
Plate, and set the REGIUS Plate in the
exposure-only cassette.

Close the exposure-only cassette's lid, and
make sure the lock is engaged.

Implement an exposure so that the frame
on which "UPPER" label is affixed comes
to the top of the image.

After the exposure is completed, open the
lid of the exposure-only cassette in the
dark room. Set the back plate of the read-
only cassette with its register mark aligned
to the register mark of the exposure-only
cassette in which the REGIUS Plate has
been originally set. Pull out the REGIUS
Plates by making the REGIUS Plate stick
together with its original back plate.

Couple the front and back plates of the
read-only cassette, and make sure the lock
is engaged.

Insert the read-only cassette into the
REGIUS MODEL 190 to read the image
data.

Confirm that the exposure
will be made for long object
purpose before implementing
the procedures on the left
using the read-only
cassettes.

When loading the REGIUS
Plate, set the concave edge
first, then other edges.
When setting the back plates
on the exposure-only
cassette, make sure that
orientation of all cassettes
are the same ([Plate
Release] buttons are facing
the same direction)
Loading of the REGIUS
Plate in the read-only
cassette should always be
carried out in dark room.
