Ensure that "READY" is displayed on the
LCD of REGIUS MODEL 190 and the
READY lamp (blue) is illuminated.

Press the "erase" button for at least three
seconds.
• The "erase" lamp located on the left of the
"erase" button will illuminate (orange) and
the message "ERASE MODE 1" together
with a counter "■ ■ ■ • • • QUICK" will
appear on the LCD panel.
• If the "erase" button is pressed before the
counter "■ ■ ■ • • • " reaches the left end,
the erase mode will change to ERASE
MODE 2.
• Pressing the "erase" button again will show
"READY" on the LCD panel, and exit the
ERASE MODE.

The cassette targeted for image erasure
should be inserted into the cassette
insertion slot before the counter
"■ ■ ■ • • • " reaches the left end.
• Erasing will start. The counter
"■ ■ ■ • • • " will flash during erasure.
• After the READY lamp (blue) extinguishes
and the cassette is fully transported into the
REGIUS MODEL 190, the READY lamp
(blue) will illuminate again.
• The next cassette to be inserted can be
stacked in the cassette insertion slot .

The cassette after image erasure will be
ejected to the cassette stacker which
holds a maximum of four cassettes.
• The cassette ejection lamp (orange) flashes
a few second before the cassette is ejected;
it will extinguish when the cassette is
ejected completely.
• After the ejection shutter closes, the
cassette stacked in the cassette insertion
slot will be automatically transported into
the unit.
• The cassette may be inserted continuously
before the counter decrements to zero.
• The cassette ejected into the cassette
stacker can be used again.

When the erasing is completed, the
counter "■ ■ ■ • • • " starts to decrement.
When it reaches the left end, "READY"
will be displayed indicating that the
REGIUS MODEL 190 is ready to read
cassettes.
• The "erase" lamp will extinguish.

Be careful not to push the
"operation" button
accidentally instead of
pushing "erase" button.
Insert the cassette so that it
is aligned to the left side of
the cassette insertion slot.
