1. Remove the SPRING FEED MSI from the main unit.
Mind the correct orientation when installing the SPRING FEED MSI.
Make sure that the oval figure side of the SPRING FEED MSI is hitched on GEAR MSI.
2. Release the tab on the GEAR MSI and remove the GEAR MSI from the SHAFT MSI.
For easier operation, make the D-cut surface of the SHAFT MSI face upward.
Open and close the COVER ASSY FRONT to check if the harnesses routed through the
DUCT DRV PH are under no-load conditions.

3. Remove the screw (silver, 6 mm) that secures the ground wire coming out of the COVER ASSY
FRONT to the main unit.
4. Disconnect the connector (P/J272) of the harness and the connector (P/J OP02, P/J OP03) of the
HARNESS ASSY-CON F. (The harnesses are coming out of the COVER ASSY FRONT.)
When performing the next step, make sure not to release the wire and harnesses near
the COVER ASSY FRONT (to the left of the dotted line indicated with A) from the
DUCT DRV PH.
Make sure that the protective tubes of the harnesses are not damaged. If they are
damaged, replace them with new ones.
5. Release the ground wire, harness, HARNESS ASSY-CON F, which are coming out of the COVER
ASSY FRONT, from the DUCT DRV PH.
