RADIAL BALL BEARING
Clean the bearing with solvent and dry it thoroughly.
Turn the inner race (outer race: cylinder barrel side
crankshaft bearing only) of the radial ball bearing with
your finger and check for play.
Replace the radial ball bearing if it is noisy or has
excessive play.

REDUCTION UNIT INSPECTION

RADIAL BALL BEARING
Clean the bearing with solvent and dry it thoroughly.
Turn the inner race of the radial ball bearing with your
finger and check for play.
Replace the radial ball bearing if it is noisy or has
excessive play.
CHAIN TYPE
P.T.O. SHAFT, DRIVE SPROCKET, DRIVE CHAIN
Check the following for wear or damage:
– P.T.O. shaft [1]
– Drive sprocket [2]
– Drive chain [3]
• Replace the P.T.O. shaft, drive sprocket and drive
chain as a set.
