Aut o Media Sensor Calibrat ion aut om at ically est ablishes t he opt im um sensing values for t he m edia
you are using.

Before calibrat ing, be sure t he m edia sensor is set for t he appropriat e m edia t ype, also ensure
t hat t he Print head Carrier Assem bly is lat ched down and t he cover is closed.
To aut om at ically calibrat e t he m edia sensor:
1. Wit h t he desired m edia loaded, hold t he
t o hold t he but t on unt il t he
2. Next press t he PAUSE
calculat e t he TOF Delt a and Low values t o be used.
3. Upon com plet ion, one of t he following light s will flash five t im es t o denot e t he result of t he aut o
calibrat ion at t em pt :
STOP Light = Successful calibrat ion. Proceed t o St ep 4.
Light = Unsuccessful calibrat ion, t ry again. I f t he calibrat ion cont inues t o fail proceed t o
ERROR

If you wish to discard the changes and revert back to the previous calibration simply turn off the printer
before Step 4.
