The Menu Syst em cont ains t hree prim ary branches, each wit h a differing level of access t o
secondary m enus or funct ions:

The User Menu accesses basic print er set t ings and funct ions;

The Advanced Menu accesses all operat ional set t ings, funct ions, and diagnost ics; and,

The Test Menu accesses a m enu of t est , user- defined, and previous label print ing funct ions.
( 1) Ent ering t he Menu Syst em t akes t he print er OFF- LI NE and st ops t he processing of new dat a.
( 2) Prom pt s m ay appear before m enu access is grant ed and before changes are enact ed; see

( 3) Display cont rast is adj ust able: press and hold t he MENU BUTTON t o cycle t hrough t he cont rast
range ( t his m ay t ake several seconds) t hen release t he but t on when t he desired appearance has
been achieved.
( 4) The Menu Syst em described below det ails funct ions available when t he print er firm ware is at
Applicat ion Version 12.071 or great er. Print a Configurat ion Label t o ident ify your print er's current

To print a label from t he Test Menu, pr ess t he TEST BUTTON ; and,

To change pr int er set t ings or perform diagnost ics, press t he M EN U BUTTON t hen observe
t he M EN U W I N D OW AREA for available select ions. ( When t he num ber of select ions
present is gr eat er t han can be shown, use t he UP or D OW N BUTTON S t o view t hose
addit ional it em s. Also, SOFT KEY LABELS are dynam ic and change t o denot e t he current
associat ed SOFT KEY funct ions.)
