Det erm ines how t he print er handles t he dat a received from a host , where:
The print er out put s t he raw ASCI I dat a it receives wit hout int erpret at ion; no
processing occurs.
Processes dat a norm ally. ( Default Set t ing)
Saves t he incom ing dat a t o Module H ( USB t hum bdrive) if present ; ot herwise, t he
file is st ored on Module G. The file nam e, in t he form [ dmx_xxx_yyy.dpl], where
t he count is aut om at ically increm ent ed for every capt ure and a unique print er t im e
st am p ( xxx) , is assigned.
Perform s print er opt ion diagnost ics or m onit ors and out put s t est result s, where:
Perform s a funct ional t est of t he Present Sensor by indicat ing LABEL PRESENTED
( when a label blocks t he sensor) and LABEL NOT PRESENTED ( when no label blocks
t he sensor) . ( Not e t hat t his t est can also be used t o check t he sensor funct ion of t he
Peel & Present opt ion.)
Perform s a funct ional t est of t he Cut t er, where:
Cycles t he cut t er blade a select ed num ber of t im es ( 0 - 999) , wit h PASS / FAI L

Perform s a funct ional t est of t he GPI O port , where:
Displays input signal logic values for St art of Print ( SOP) .

