Adding a Connection (Group) for the OPC Server
To add a connection to the SIMATIC NET OPC server, follow these steps:
1. Expand the Local Server(s) directory in the Servers and Groups for the project.
2. Double-click the OPC.SimaticNet element to add a connection (or group) for
the SIMATIC NET OPC server.
3. In the Add Group dialog, enter the Group Name for the connection (for
example, Group1).
4. Click OK to add the group to the OPC server. OPC Scout adds the connection
(Group1) to the OPC server.
