Position the infant cradle directly on the table top in such a
way that the infant is centered.
Maintain a distance of at least 10 cm between the region
to be examined and the front edge of the table.
Position the infant in such a way that the feet are in the nar-
rower part of the infant cradle.
It is only possible to scan the region of the body that is inside the

range marked on the table top.
Immobilize the infant.

Position the patient so that his or her feet are pointing in
the direction of the gantry.
Remember to enter the position correctly in the patient
data.
Enter the patient position "Feet first" when registering the

patient.
Place the Bocollo cushion (Headrest) under the head of the
patient at the foot end of the patient table.
In this case, it is not possible to use the head holder.
