You must check the mobility and cleanness of the table top.

Make sure that you can manually retract the table top from
the gantry. (→ Page C.2-9 Retracting the patient table
manually)
Make sure that the scan field is free of residual contrast
medium, blood or other contaminations.

Switch on the laser light marker and check the projections
of the light beams on a white sheet of paper.
The laser beam must project a line.

The laser light marker does not work.

Stop scanning to rule out any danger to patients.
