This chapter describes how to configure SSL application objects for use in SSL VPN.

42.1 SSL Application Overview

Configure an SSL application object to specify a service and a corresponding IP address of the
server on the local network. You can apply one or more SSL application objects in the VPN >
SSL VPN screen for a user account/user group.

42.1.1 Application Types

The following lists the types of SSL applications you can configure on the ZyWALL.
• Web-based
A web-based application allows remote users to access an intranet site using standard web
browsers.
• File sharing
Configure file sharing to allow users to access files on the intranet.

42.1.2 Remote User Screen Links

Available SSL application names are displayed as links in remote user screens. Depending on
the application type, remote users can simply click the links or follow the steps in the pop-up
dialog box to access.

42.2 SSL Application Configuration

The main SSL Application screen displays a list of the configured SSL application objects.
Click Object > SSL Application in the navigation panel.
