Preliminary work
- Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand.

- Remove screw
- Remove screw
- Take
off
the top triple clamp with the handlebar and set it aside.

Protect the motorcycle and its attachments against damage by covering
them.
Do not bend the cables and lines.
- Remove O-ring . Remove protective ring
- Take out the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
- Remove the upper steering head bearing.
Main work
- Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage, and grease.

- Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount the upper steering head
bearing.
- Check whether the top steering head seal is correctly positioned.
- Slide on protective ring and O-ring
- Position the upper triple clamp with the steering.
- Mount screw but do not tighten yet.
