Preliminary work
- Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand.

- Drain the coolant. (r p. 192)
- Remove the seat.

- Remove the fuel tank.

- Remove the main silencer.

Main work
- Disconnect negative cable of the battery.
- Loosen hose clip
- Remove screw
- Loosen screw
- Repeat these steps on the opposite side.
- Remove the cable binder of the frame protector on the right.
- Swing up the subframe and secure it.
- Remove screw
- Pull the shock absorber out of the bracket and swing the compensating tank toward
the rear.
- Remove screw . Remove the cable binder. Take off the frame protector.
