Connect your instruments, audio devices, and MIDI devices as shown in the following diagram.
MIDI interface

MIDI sequencer

(e.g., computer)
Rear panel
AC adaptor
Loop the cable of the AC adaptor around
the hook as shown in the diagram before
connecting it to the DC 12V jack. This
will prevent the plug from being
disconnected if the AC adaptor cable is
accidentally pulled.

Connections

Only one of these jacks can be used
at a time. If instruments/microphones
are connected to both jacks, the
GUITAR/BASS jack has priority.
To supply +48V phantom power to a
condenser mic, set the [PHANTOM]
MIDI
switch on the rear panel to ON.
OUT
(Phantom power will be supplied to
both INPUT 1/2 connectors.)
Dynamic microphone or
condenser microphone
Audio system (audio components
or amplified speakers)
To prevent damage to the speakers of your
audio system, turn off the power of the system
(or turn the volume all the way down) before
you make connections.
GUITAR or BASS

Synthesizer or sampler, etc.
When connecting stereo output devices such as
a synthesizer or CD player, connect the L
output of the external device to the INPUT 1
jack, and the R output to the INPUT 2 jack.
