Connections

Refer to the illustration below to connect instruments, mics, other audio equipment and a computer,
for example.
Outputs
Headphones
Stereo systems, speakers
with built-in ampliiers, etc.
Rear panel
FOOTSWITCH
Connect a ZOOM
FS01 footswitch (sold
separately), and use it
to stop/start playback
or punch-in/out, for
example.
AC adapter
Only use a ZOOM
AD-17 AC adapter,
which is designed for
use with this unit.

Connect cables with XLR or phone plugs (mono/stereo, balanced/
unbalanced) to the
Microphones
Devices with stereo outputs
When using a synthesizer, a CD
player or other stereo devices:

Set the input selection switch to
MIC
LINE.
PHANTOM
Set the

ON
to supply phantom power to
a condenser mic.
Connect

LINE.
Right side panel
When connected to a computer, you
can transfer audio iles with it, for
example. You can also use the

surface for DAW software.
Guitar/bass
To connect a passive electric
guitar or bass directly:

Set input selection switch
GUITAR BASS
(Hi-Z).
Built-in microphones
Use the built-in mics on the left
and right of the unit to record
drums or a band performance,
for example.
Set both input selection
