1. TAC Mode is entered and exited by scrolling to the TAC icon and
pressing Enter key. A tick '✓' will appear to confirm the selection.
2. Press the Esc key to clear the confirmation.
3. The TAC response factor will be temporarily displayed before TAC
Mode is entered.
4. To ensure best results, TAC Mode automatically selects a specific
instrument setup. The TAC response factor and higher sensitivity
functions become available.
5. To exit TAC Mode, press the TAC soft key and then Enter.
6. A tick '✓' will appear to confirm the selection. Press the Esc key.
7. The gas response factor will be temporarily displayed before TAC
Mode is exited.
Health & Safety

Press the Health & Safety soft key to display the Health & Safety symbol with a question mark:
. Press Enter to confirm and start the calculations. The
flash.
The STEL and TWA values are then shown. To stop calculations, press Enter. A question mark is then
displayed. Press Enter again to confirm that calculations are to be stopped. A tick '✓' then appears
beside the question mark, and then main running screen is displayed.
While the instrument calculates the instrument displays the ongoing STEL as it is calculated. The live
reading is for indication only. Only the final reading at the end of the process is logged and should be
used as reference.
If a gas has no STEL and TWA levels in the gas table this symbol will appear:
