• Library TL1 to TL4: Status of each AIT library (status of AIT library
connection and status of mounted AIT drive are monitored)
If a library has not been configured, "NO USE" appears.
• Cache: Status of the connection with the cache server is monitored
It does not appear if no cache server is set up.
Example of messages displayed when there is a problem
Main server
Warning : Fan is not mounted.[Index=1]
Warning : RAID Controller.[Status=Degraded]
Tape libraries TL1 to TL4 Warning : Library status is not Running. (Status=Down)
Software Condition
This indicates whether the required processes for the network file server are
running correctly. If all of the processes are running correctly, "GOOD"
appears; if there is an error, "Error" appears together with a description of the
error.

Error : ls scsi is not started.
Online capacity
This shows the disk capacity, usage amount, and usage rate of each area.
• Total data area: Total of disk area and tape area
• Main disk area: Hard disk area assigned to user
• Tape area (TL1 to TL4): Tape area of each AIT library assigned to user
(unconnected AIT libraries are not displayed)
• Tape area (Total): All areas of AIT library assigned to user
• Tape area (Covered with Cache): Total capacity of all cache
Notes
• This system uses a determined number of cartridges, among AIT cartridges
inserted in the AIT library, as system area. The tape area does not include
capacity used by the system.
• The [Used rate] of the [Tape area (Covered with Cache)] indicates in % the
cached capacity among the [Used capacity] of the tape area. Even when each
respective cache capacity is used up, as long as the total capacity of cache for
the tape area is 30%, the usage rate is displayed as [30%].
• When the HNF VDM function is set, the duplicated area is not included in the
online capacity.
Total capacity
This shows the capacity of all volumes in offline volume management.
Checking the capacity
Check the following items.
• Make sure there is still room in the usage rate of [Total data area].
• Make sure there is still room in the usage rate of each AIT library.
When the AIT library usage rate exceeds 90%, the "WARNING: Library used
size is over 90%" message appears. If this happens, delete unnecessary files or
increase AIT library. For more details, contact your dealer.
Note
The [Total capacity] does not appear if the OFM (OFfline volume Management)
function is disabled.
