Downloading HNF messenger client
You can download an HNF messenger client application.
From the [Windows File Sharing] screen, you can perform settings of the
Windows file sharing server function of HNF.
• GLOBALS: Performs general server settings
• SHARES: Performs settings of each shared folder
• STATUS: Starts, stops, or restarts a Windows file sharing server, or monitors
its operation state. If you stop or restart the server while a service is being
offered, the service is cancelled and an error may occur on the Windows
client.
• VIEW: Displays the current settings of the server
• AD: Registers HNF to ActiveDirectory
For description on how to join ActiveDirectory, refer to "ActiveDirectory
Settings" in Chapter 4, "Items to Verify Before Operation" (page 51).
Note
Because the basic settings are already completed when the server is shipped, if
you configure the settings incorrectly, you may no longer be able to offer
service.
