Status
OK Normal Status is normal.
FULL Normal No space remains on the AIT
cartridge.
RDONLY Warning AIT cartridge is set to read-only.
NOEOM Warning Tape volume is in use by internal
system processing.
BAD Error Tape volume is corrupt and cannot
mount.
EJECTED Error Necessary volume has been
ejected from the AIT library.
• Used Rate: Percentage of each volume that has been used
• Library: Name of the AIT library connected to the system
Notes
• If the [Used Rate] for a tape volume displayed on the [Tape Volumes] screen
differs from that displayed on the [Monitor] screen (page 47), there is a
possibility that data on the drive is being compressed. The percentage
displayed on the [Tape Volumes] screen represents the actual percentage of
capacity used. Therefore, even if [Tape Area] on the [Monitor] screen shows
a tape volume at full capacity, you can still sometimes write to it. Make sure
to use the system in such a way that [Used Rate] on the [Tape Volumes] screen
never reaches 100% for all tape volumes.
• If the tape volume status becomes [RDONLY] or [BAD], a checkbox will
appear in the [Status] column, allowing you to clear the volume status. If this
happens, contact your dealer and clear the status by following the instructions
given.
Command buttons
You can use the following commands from the [Tape Volumes] screen.
Command button Function
Status Clear Clears the volume status.
Refresh Refreshes the information on the screen.
Offline Volume Moves to the offline volume management screen.
Note
The [Offline Volume] button is displayed when you have enabled the OFM
(OFfline volume Management) function on the [Software Configuration]
screen.
