"PetaServe" is the name of the hierarchical storage management software pre-
installed on this system.
Command buttons
You can use the following commands from the [Start/Stop of PetaServe] screen.
Command button Function
Start Starts PetaServe processes. It may take several minutes
for all processes to start. You cannot select this button if
PetaServe processes have already been started.
Stop Stops PetaServe processes. You cannot select this
button if PetaServe processes have already been
stopped.
Status Displays the status of PetaServe processes.
Clear history Clears the command history displayed by [Status].

manual).
