The [CIFS Client Setting] screen creates a registry file of settings needed to
access this system from Windows. By logging on to this system with a guest
user account from each client and following the procedure below, you can
update the client registry.
Command buttons
You can use the following commands from the [CIFS Client Setting] screen.
Refer to (page 37) for instructions on how to create a registry file.

Session timeout setting (creating a registry file)
You should change each client's session timeout setting because there is a
danger that the CIFS mount will time out in Windows' default state.

Access the web administration screen for this system from the Windows
client that is to be configured.

Input a value in the [Session Timeout] field on the [CIFS Client Setting]
screen.
For the session timeout, input the length of time to maintain the CIFS
session during a period of no communication between the client and server.
The recommended value range is from 600 to 7200 seconds.

Click [Creates a file for registry configuration].
A message like the one shown below appears.

Click the [DOWNLOAD: stimeoutXXX.reg] link.
"XXX" is replaced by the value you set for [Session Timeout].
