Turning Off the AIT Library
Caution
Do not hold down the POWER switch for more than 4 seconds. This will force
an immediate shutdown, which could affect the system adversely.

Push and hold the STANDBY button on the front of the unit for at least 3
seconds.
Pushing the STANDBY button moves the internal mechanisms of the AIT
library to a fixed position.
The following message appears.
Shutdown

When the message shown below appears, turn off the power switch on the
back of the AIT library.

on the rear of the
Library
Cautions
• Although simply pressing the switch on the back of the unit will turn off
the power, you should be sure to follow the above procedure when turning
off the power.
• After turning the power off, wait at least 10 seconds before turning it on
again. If you turn the switch on after less than 10 seconds and the unit does
not start, turn the power off and wait at least 30 seconds before turning the
power switch on again.
