Straighten the bent tabs of the tab washer on the propeller shaft.

Place a block of wood between the propeller blade and the sterndrive's anti‑ventilation plate.
3.
Turn the propeller shaft nut counterclockwise and remove the nut.
4.
Slide the propeller and the attaching hardware from the propeller shaft.
