Engine Mounts

Loosen the rear engine mount bolts 1 to 1‑1/2 turns. Tighten the rear engine mount bolts to the specified torque.

Propellers

Bravo Sterndrive Propeller Removal

Rotating propellers can cause serious injury or death. Never operate the boat out of the water with a propeller installed.
Before installing or removing a propeller, place the drive unit in neutral and engage the lanyard stop switch to prevent the
engine from starting. Place a block of wood between the propeller blade and the anti‑ventilation plate.

Bravo One Models

1.
Straighten the bent tabs of the tab washer on the propeller shaft.

Place a block of wood between the propeller blade and the sterndrive's anti‑ventilation plate.
3.
Turn the propeller shaft nut counterclockwise and remove the nut.
