Procedure
Step 1.
Touch the static-protective package that contains the front I/O assembly to any unpainted surface
on the outside of the server. Then, take the front I/O assembly out of the package and place it on a
static-protective surface.
Step 2.
Install the front I/O assembly.

1. Insert the front I/O assembly into the front chassis.
2. Install the screws to secure the front I/O assembly in place.
After you finish
1. Connect the cables of the front I/O assembly to the system board. See "Front I/O assembly" on page 58.
2. Complete the parts replacement. See "Complete the parts replacement" on page 397.
