Exhaust assy. Removal
- Undo the two exhaust manifold fixings on the
head.
- Undo the three screws fixing the muffler to the
support arm.
- Remove the full muffler unit.
To refit, carry out the removal operations in reverse order, observing the prescribed tightening torques.
Locking torques (N*m)
Nuts fixing muffler to support arm 27 ÷ 30 Nut fixing muffler to cylinder head 16 ÷ 18
Removal of the engine from the vehicle
CAUTION
SUPPORT THE SCOOTER ADEQUATELY.
-Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the saddle, the side fairings and the
footrests.
- Drain the coolant.
-Remove the muffler assembly.
- Remove the right shock absorber lower retainer.
- Remove the muffler support bracket.
- Remove the rear wheel.
