2� Attaching/Detaching a Battery
This instrument uses a dedicated lithium-ion battery (CM-A223).
CAUTION
• Do not use any battery other than the dedicated lithium-ion battery. Doing so may cause the battery to rupture or result in
decreased battery life.
• Do not touch or short-circuit the terminals in the battery compartment. Doing so may damage the instrument.
How to Attach

Turn the power OFF�

Open the battery compartment cover
located on the back of the data
processor�

While pressing on the lithium-ion
battery, slide the battery until a "click"
can be heard� To detach the battery, slide
it in the opposite direction�

Screw the battery compartment cover to
close it�
Remove the screw.
