Connecting the power cords to the system

Use this procedure to connect the power cords to the system.
To connect the power cords to the system, complete the following steps:
1. Open the rear rack door on the system unit that you are servicing.
2. Reconnect the power cords (A) to the system unit. See Figure 149 on page 158, Figure 150 on page
159, or Figure 151 on page 159 depending on the type of your system. Figure 146 shows the supported
alternate current (AC) and high voltage direct current (HVDC) connectors. Figure 147 on page 158 and
Figure 148 on page 158 show the supported connectors and power distribution unit (PDU) for
8408-44E.
