Confirm the Proper
Brake Configuration
Genie specifications require that this procedure be
performed every 250 hours or quarterly, whichever
comes first.
Proper brake configuration is essential to safe
operation and good machine performance.
Hydraulically-released, spring-applied individual
wheel brakes can appear to operate normally when
they are actually not fully operational.
1 Check each drive hub disconnect cap to be sure
it is in the engaged position.

Inspect the Tires, Wheels and
Lug Nut Torque
Genie specifications require that this procedure be
performed every 250 hours or quarterly, whichever
comes first.
Maintaining the tires and wheels in good
condition is essential to safe operation and good
performance. Tire and/or wheel failure could result
in a machine tip-over. Component damage may
also result if problems are not discovered and
repaired in a timely fashion.
