Diagnostics and Testing
Note: When first entering the Door and light Switch test, the oven cavity light will stay off for 60 seconds
while testing the individual components. After that, the light will cycle on and off as well.

Door Switch

1. Toggle the "SELECTOR KNOB" to the right and you will see the following:
0 00 MIN/SEC
2. Now, open the oven door.
The right display will change to show:
This will test the operation of the Door Interlock switch. You should still see open or closed in the display, as
well as hear the light relay activate on the EOC.

Light Switch

1. Toggle the "SELECTOR KNOB" to the right and you will see the following:
0 00 MIN/SEC
2. Now, switch ON the control panel light switch.
The right display will change to show:
This will test the operation of the Control Panel switch. On the VDSC548T ranges, this test will work on the
left 18" oven EOC4 test only.
If the oven cavity light bulb is defective, you should still see "Light On" or "Light Off" in the display, as well as
hear the light relay activate on the EOC4.
