(5) Connect the cable of the new rechargeable battery cartridge to the battery cable connector.
(6) Insert the new rechargeable battery cartridge into the scanner.
(7) After guiding the cable into the space around the rechargeable battery cartridge, close the lower housing and tighten the
screw.

Note: When closing the lower housing, take care not to jam the cable between the housing and
bottom housing.
Note: Be sure to charge the new rechargeable battery cartridge following replacement.
Note: Never peel off the protective film covering the rechargeable battery cartridge.
