there is no document in the automatic document feeder, a
telephone call message is displayed.

Enter the programmed code (e.g.: 01). The fax machine will start
transmission. At the end of the transmission the display will
show the message "TX COMPLETED" and then the initial
machine operation mode.

Press </> to scroll through the codes on the display in order to
select the one required and then press START. The fax machine
will start the transmission.
When the > key is pressed for the first time, the code 01 is
displayed. The display shows the fax number stored in the code.

•
a name has also been stored, this will appear on the display.
•
a number has not been programmed under this code, a
message will be displayed to this effect.
•
transmission report printing is enabled (see the section
REPORTS ), the report will be printed following the relative
display message.

you wish to interrupt the procedure during the transmission:
1) Press STOP. The display alternately indicates the machine
operation mode message and a message prompting you
to press STOP to remove the document (REMOVE
DOCUMENT, PRESS STOP).
2) Press STOP again. The document will be ejected and the
display will alternate between the machine operation mode
message and a message indicating that the transmission
has been interrupted. If the document to be removed
comprises more than one sheet, manually remove all the
sheets above the one in the ADF and then press STOP to
also eject the first sheet.
3) Press STOP again to return to the original operation mode.
HOW TO PROGRAM DELAYED TRANSMISSION
The option to send a document at a preset time helps avoid problems associated with the different time
zones should you have to send a document thousands of miles and also helps contain costs since you can
opt to send documents at cheap rate times.
In order to transmit a document at a preset time first decide the time at which you want transmission to
take place and the dialling method you want to use. This information must then be programmed. The
document to be transmitted must be left in the document feeder from the moment the machine is
programmed to the moment it is transmitted.
