The paper used has a very porous surface.
There is a particle on the printing nib that the print
head pad cannot remove.
The printing nib is dirty.
Nozzles obstructed.
If instead, the numbered scale appears as in the figure below:
and the message displayed is "NOZZLES DAMAGED", this means that there is an electrical problem. If
this happens, consult the table below.
The print head has been replaced or reinserted

Try printing on the other side of the sheet or else
use a different type of paper.
Remove the print head. Remove the particle with
care, making sure you do not touch the electrical
contacts or the printing nib. Reinsert the print
head and follow the " Automatic Checking and
Cleaning of the Print Nozzles " procedure.
Carry out the " Cleaning the Print Head Cleaning
Ribbon" procedure.
Repeat this procedure once again to carry out the
print
head
cleaning

should replace the print head.
ACTION
Remove and reinsert the print head and then carry
out the " Automatic Checking and Cleaning of the
Print Nozzles " procedure.
Carry out the " Cleaning the Electrical Contacts on
the Print Head " procedure and then the " Automatic
Checking and Cleaning of the Print Nozzles "
procedure.
Replace the print head.
