USING THE REDIAL KEY

You can use the REDIAL key in the following situations:
•
An autoredial has already been attempted without success. In this case you can use the REDIAL key
to make a further attempt.
•
You want to send a second document to the same destination number. In this case the first document
was transmitted successfully.

The fax is in transmission mode (document inserted) after a failed
attempt at transmission, or has successfully completed a transmission.

Insert the document.

Press REDIAL.
With a document inserted, the display shows the result of the
last transmission

Press REDIAL again.
The fax redials the destination fax number (e.g. 123456) and
attempts connection.

After dialling, the machine will make the connection. The display
shows the destination number, or, if programmed, the name of
the destination party. The machine will then start transmission.
On completion of the transmission the display will show "TX
COMPLETED" for a few seconds and then the operating mode.
IF...
•
the transmission report function is selected (see section:
REPORTS ), the machine will print out a report after displaying
the relative message.
•
you want to interrupt transmission at any point:
1) Press STOP. The display alternately indicates the machine
operation mode message and a message prompting you
to press STOP to remove the document (REMOVE
DOCUMENT, PRESS STOP).
2) Press STOP again. The document will be ejected and the
display will alternate between the machine operation mode
message and a message indicating that the transmission
has been interrupted. If the document to be removed
comprises more than one sheet, manually remove all the
sheets above the one in the ADF and then press STOP to
also eject the first sheet.
3) Press STOP again to return to the original operation
mode.
